Jones Reporting Services transcribes from almost any media format. If you have questions about whether your audio is in a format that can be transcribed, feel free to contact us.

Jones Reporting Services has the ability to enhance the quality of your audio, including:

Noise reduction – decreasing the amount of background noise and/or static
Vocal normalization – boosting quiet speakers and decreasing louder parties so audio will have a more uniform volume
Audio Clipping to provide only the audio that is needed
File format conversion to a usable format for your application.

Receiving Capabilities

Audio files of any size can be uploaded to Jones Reporting Services's secure FTP site.

Secure FTP site to upload audio: Once you have logged in you can upload folders and files to your repository. Simply select the Upload icon and utilize the Windows explorer to Browse and select files and folders for Upload. Upload allows a transfer of unlimited folders and files. The folder structure and hierarchy will be maintained under the currently selected folder.

Share Files - You can assign a Guest password to multiple File(s) in your repository. Guest(s) enter your repository name and the "Guest" password you assigned. You can assign an expiration date and time to the password. You can delete the password and change the expiration date and time at any time from any anywhere.

Share Folders - You can also assign a Guest password to any folder in your repository. All the same Share Files functions apply. Additionally, you can assign upload rights with storage allocation to the Guest password.

Delivery Capabilities

Jones Reporting Services has the capability to turnaround audio as quickly as the client requests, including same-day turnaround of the full and verbatim record. Each transcript will include a certificate page electronically signed when delivered electronically. Any hard copy delivered will be signed.

Jones Reporting Services can deliver the transcript in any format you require, including Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, PDF, .txt, .rtf, .pxt.

If requested, hard copy deliveries can include a CD-R of the electronic transcript. All CD-R disks have a printed label. The label will include the required information. The disk will be stored in a sleeve attached to the hard copy transcript.

Audio-Transcript Synchronization

Jones Reporting Services can provide audio/video/text synchronization. A CD/DVD will include a scrolling transcript in synch with your audio/video file(s). Take advantage of the DepoView software to create audio/video clips for PowerPoint.

The synch also includes a completely searchable and interactive wordlist and the ability to print/save a full-sized or condensed (4-in-1) transcript.
