In NCAA Tournament, it's 'One Shining Moment' for Duke, stenographers

Good afternoon! Here are several court reporting stories from across the U.S.

'I never thought it would turn into more than just a moment'

We reported about The University of Wisconsin’s good-natured fun with an NCAA stenographer. Well, it turns out that Duke players weren’t the only ones to have one shining moment during the NCAA Tournament. A Wisconson stenography program is expanding with an assist from the Final Four Badgers. (Wisconsin State Journal) | One of the stenographers who was the center of attention, Debra Bollman, went from 15 Twitter followers to 400. (Fox Sports) | Another one of them, Toni Christy, found people started to recognize her after her brush with fame. (ESPN) | In fact, all of the NCAA stenographers were the tournament’s media darlings. (USA Today)

NCRA-sponsored high school texting competition
