Weighing Your Deposition Options as You Prepare Your July Calendar? Huseby Can Help!
Are you considering getting back to in-person depositions or have you investigated options for attending remotely? We at Huseby are providing a variety of deposition solutions for clients across the country. We understand that guidelines vary by state and localities. That is why we are providing solutions for in-person depositions and remote depositions. Whether your upcoming cases are fully remote, in-person, or a combination of the two, we make attending depositions easy and tailor your experience to your comfort level.
From the time you schedule to the delivery of the transcript, the Huseby team is working around the clock to ensure a smooth deposition. Before the proceeding, we make sure you have all the necessary tools.
For remote depositions, we’ll run tests with you, opposing counsel, and the witness so that each party is familiar with how to connect. Our support team will reach out to you days before the deposition to run the test as well as discuss exhibits. Your virtual conference room will be available to you hours before the deposition start time, so you’ll have plenty of time to get prepared. A member of our support team will login and be present the entire deposition in case you have any questions or need help troubleshooting a tech issue. If you prefer to conduct an in-person deposition we’re ready for that, too. When you visit our offices, you will see signage reminding you to help us all manage spacing of at least 6 feet. We have provided different layouts of conference rooms as guidelines for our offices. Second, face coverings will be required for all team members, reporters and videographers. Where not required by local health officials, face coverings are also recommended for clients and deponents - especially when moving freely around the office. Third, we will be asking health question checks at the door to screen for those with symptoms or who have been exposed to someone either showing COVID-19 symptoms or someone who has been infected with COVID-19. Throughout the day and after each deposition, we are conducting enhanced cleaning with a special emphasis on high traffic areas and hard surfaces such as tables, chairs and doorknobs. You can also check out our video here to see what steps we’re taking at each office to ensure everyone’s safety.
