What's New in Technology

IT

We migrated all the servers out of our Charlotte office into the Esquire data center, and we made network changes that will let us access Esquire network drives when we’re logged into the Huseby VPN, and let Esquire folks access Huseby network folders when they’re logged into the Esquire VPN. That will make it much easier for our teams to help each other. We’re continuing to make changes to our infrastructure to allow us to fully integrate into the existing Esquire infrastructure during the next 3-6 months.

As a reminder, we’ve moved to an in-house help desk, and here’s how to get support: Send an email to support@esquiresolutions.com, including as much detail as possible, and it will automatically create a help desk ticket. We’ll get quicker help if we make sure we avoid generic subject lines “Help!” or “Computer Issue”—please make the subject line give some detail about the true problem. If you have something that’s truly urgent, or if you can’t send an email, please call the team at (877) 223-8080. Please only call the team if this is a truly urgent matter, otherwise let’s all use email to open a ticket. Our coverage is from 8am-8pm Eastern time M-F, and we’ve worked with individual teams on after-hours coverage for high-impact emergencies.

Salesforce

We pushed out a lot of fixes and enhancements to Salesforce. We made final (fingers crossed!) changes to fix time issues, got COD issues fixed, got the new Production sheet rolled out, deployed enhanced calendars to both the Customer and Resource portals, and put duplicate errata process fixes into production. We also pushed out more than a dozen other fixes and enhancements. We’re going to continue to push high-value enhancements, and we’re also looking long-term at moving many of the great enhancements we made to Salesforce for our Marketing and Sales team into the Salesforce instance that our combined companies are going to use.

What's New in Operations

Production Update: Last month (December) we shipped 1875 jobs. That includes 286 expedites.

Elizabeth Moore lead all production people with 216 jobs shipped through Salesforce. Thanks for leading the way Elizabeth!!!! Special Kudos to the Northeast LAT for having the lowest average time to ship last month @ 1.4 days and to the Florida LAT who shipped 67.6% of their jobs the same day they were turned in.

Video Update: video department is caught up with no current delays in delivery. They are staffing for video edit opportunities, and ready to assist with the new zoom protocols.

Support Update: Support processed 1042 new business emails that included 154 copy sale request emails. They also processed 127 Urgent requests from clients, reporters, and internal staff. We also escalated Sarah Jarvis to a Special Ops role to focus her efforts on providing excellent service to select clients.

Quality update: 174 issues were reported through the ticketing system in December. You can view this report to understand the issues and resolutions.

Number one issue was attention to detail, and all the staff have received coaching to address it moving forward. Special Kudos to Dimearia Eudell, Elizabeth Moore, Shantee Chappell, Tiffany Edwards who all shipped over 100 jobs with 0 reported internal or external mistakes.

Case Management: Tobacco calendar remained steady throughout December, including three different trials, two of which lead into January - and with three more new ones to start the new year! Juul depos wrapped up in mid-December and we're now looking forward to the expert depos for next year. Goodleap cases remained strong throughout December as well, also leading into the new year. The CM team has gotten word from Scott Klein and the sales team that there will be quite a few more cases under CM in the new year as well.

Projects:

Integration with Esquire is moving nicely. Production is fulling utilizing the Zoom Chat for internal communication and project collaboration with Esquire as needed.

A Special Ops division is being developed to improve our high GP clients experience. More information to come.

Org Charts

As you all know, we’ve seen a lot of changes with folks moving back and forth into and from our larger Esquire team. That means the Huseby LAT Org Charts are no longer valid—and will be even less valid next week. Because of that, we’re going to shut them down on Friday, January 31. Instead, we’ll be using the Paycom org chart:

Dan Bender put in a Kudos for Julie and Andy at DEG

This is from Bradford Frese, one of the ArentFox partners in the Acadia v. Aurobindo case. Way to rock it Julie and Andy!! db

Julie did a really great job punching up our slides and animating them to help make our case. I really appreciate how responsive she was, and how quickly she turned around the product.

Andy was awesome. He did a really great job of preparing with us, being nimble and responsive to changes in our outlines, and highlighting key language for the Court (and the witness) to consider. There were a number of places where we had to go off-script with a witness (due to testimony being split over multiple days) and he was a real help in all of that.

Thank you for jumping on this! I just spoke with the client, and she was very happy. You’re consistently responsive and super helpful – especially when it comes to better clients with urgent needs (like this one). I need to do better about putting in Kudos for the people that do an awesome job like yourself.

Just wanted you to know it is very much appreciated!

Dave Wiseman put in a Kudos for the DEG Case Managers

Debra -- I must note, I have dealt with many deposition vendors during my tenure at Glenn Agre, and none have been as responsive, easy going and attitude-free as DEG. Including your reporters and tech staff!

Thank you!
