What's New in Technology
IT
We implemented upgrades to several of our servers and added more backup power supplies to reduce the impact of the short-term power outages we see in the Charlotte office. We’re continuing to make changes to our infrastructure to allow us to fully integrate into the existing Esquire infrastructure during the next 3-6 months.
As a reminder, we’ve moved to an in-house help desk, and here’s how to get support: Send an email to support@esquiresolutions.com, including as much detail as possible, and it will automatically create a help desk ticket. We’ll get quicker help if we make sure we avoid generic subject lines “Help!” or “Computer Issue”—please make the subject line give some detail about the true problem. If you have something that’s truly urgent, or if you can’t send an email, please call the team at (877) 223-8080. Please only call the team if this is a truly urgent matter, otherwise let’s all use email to open a ticket. Our coverage is from 8am-8pm Eastern time M-F, and we’ve worked with individual teams on after-hours coverage for high-impact emergencies.
Salesforce
We pushed out more fixes for multiple issues with time on orders, the last fix that we know of should go out this week. The date/time fields are so intertwined with so many processes that we may encounter future issues that are “hiding”, but we’ll continue to treat them as top priority. We rolled out enhancements and fixes for Notes and Products getting dropped from Work Orders in Production, the ATL Production location changing, a Copy File query limit, inconsistencies with Case names on emails/orders/work orders/witnesses, and Billing notes disappearing. We’re planning to roll out fixes in the next week or so for issues with CODs and several other priority issues. We’re finalizing getting the new Production sheet rolled out, too. We’ve also got a handful of fixes underway for various issues with reporter portals and files and international jobs, and we’re getting ready to kick off development on duplicate errata processes and appearance-only jobs.
What's New in Operations
Production Update: Last month (October) we shipped 2125 jobs. That includes 378 expedites.
Elizabeth Moore lead all production people with 249 jobs shipped through Salesforce. Thanks for leading the way Elizabeth!!!! Special Kudos to the Northeast LAT for having the lowest average time to ship last month @ .8 days and to the Florida LAT who shipped 83% of their jobs the same day they were turned in.
Video Update: video department is caught up with no current delays in delivery. They are looking for video edit opportunities, so sell them if you can. We are adding additional staff to the team in anticipation of increased work.
Support Update: Support processed 1605 new business emails that included 225 copy sale request emails. They also processed 328 Urgent requests from clients, reporters, and internal staff. We also want to welcome Kesha Osborne to the team.
Quality update: 242 issues were reported through the ticketing system in October. After investigating 48 of these where in the production department. All but 6 of these issues have been researched and closed. The other 6 are being investigated currently. You can view this report to understand the issues and resolutions.
Number one issue was attention to detail, and all the staff have received coaching to address it moving forward. Special Kudos to Joe Kozak in production who shipped 107 orders in October with no internal or external mistakes reported.
Case Management: Juul depos still going strong and seamlessly and clients have praised the court reporters - many days double and triple tracking! McBride depos equally busy with many days double and triple tracking as well. Phillips Lytle, a great firm in NY, scheduling nearly 50 depos in their Goodleap cases - brought in by Meg Linton. Another handful of cases just added to the CM calendar as well.
Projects:
Salesforce Issues is now up and running. You can view current activity here: Ticket Resolution Dashboard v2 | Salesforce or to view at department and LAT level look here: Ticket Review Dashboard | Salesforce
Integration with Esquire is moving nicely. Production is fulling utilizing the Zoom Chat for internal communication and project collaboration with Esquire as needed.
A Special Ops division is being developed to improve our high GP clients experience. More information to come.

Special Thanks from Clients
Here are some special thanks from to our reps and Huseby
From: Crystal Batson
To: David Lew
Subject: Thank you!
Thank you so much for the package I received yesterday. It was so very timely – I had a huge deadline and put in a very long day. The gift card, candle, and swag just made the day a lot easier to handle.
I also did vote Huseby as the best court reporting/videography firm with the survey of national vendors. I have worked with Huseby since around 2007 maybe? Corri Rene was my first rep. I’m not saying all of the reporters I’ve used with Huseby have been great, but I will say the support I’ve received from the Huseby COMPANY has been consistently reliable. When I’ve had a problem, it has always been quickly addressed and I never have that same problem again.
Since I arrived at L&H almost 3 years ago, I’ve continued to enjoy working with Huseby. You are a great representative of the company and you make sure my issues/questions/concerns are always addressed. The personal attention that you provide puts you above the others in the field. Thanks again for making my job easier!!!

Subject: THANK YOU FOR THE GIFTS!!
Dear Karyn,
Many gracious thanks to you for the very delicious cakes; everyone who was lucky enough to grab one, enjoyed them very, very much!! Before unleashing them to our general public in-house, I offered first to a few select folks then place the rest in our kitchen, with your sticker and face foremost so all would know they came from Huseby.
It was sincere pleasure being able to have a personal chat; I sure hope we can find Roman Sirwinski so we can re-new our friendship, albeit being long-distance.
Thank you very much again for your company, your gifts of time, conversation and sweets; how very delightful!
Wishing you a wonderful wknd,
Best Regards,
Mary Catherine Burtch 😊

Robin Barca put in a Kudos for Stephani Burger
A Huge Shout OUT to Stephani Burger on the Juul Labs Litigation matter she has been covering for me! It has been the most intense case and she has ever done and what an outstanding job! I can’t thank her enough for her tireless commitment and time spent to these depos with the demands and intricacy they require. Here is a testament from two of the attorneys on the case telling the court reporter:
Logan Page and Alysha Bohanon from Wilkinson Stekloff said to me that this was the most organized and best put-together court reporter and court reporting service he has ever seen in doing depos and --- so meticulously put together
I can’t tell you how thankful I am to have Stephani on this case and my team. She has worked with my client for hours, organizing the specifics and details of all her requests over and over. She has the best attitude and persaverance I have ever witnessed. Thank you, Stephani for all you do! You truly are Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

To the Amazing Digital Evidence Team!!
As I told Mitchell yesterday to stop him from the airport, we got to a nearly certain resolution yesterday. As of today, we are officially excused from trial Monday. Settled!
Thank you for everything. Y’all are truly the best and I can’t say enough about how much faith and trust I have in each of you. There was nothing I asked that you ever said you couldn’t do, and you did everything with absolute top notch quality and speed that amazed. I will never forget how responsive you were.
